Brad Johnson, Star of Always and Left Behind series, Dies at 62

Accourding to reporter confirmed on Thursday that actor Brad Johnson died in February due to complications from COVID-19.

Brad William Johnson was an American actor and Marlboro Man.

He was best known in Steven Spielberg’s 1989 fantasy-drama Always and Richard Dreyfuss both vie for the heart of Holly Hunter.

Born in 1959 in Tucson, Ariz., Johnson began his career on the professional rodeo circuit in 1984.

This led to his stint as the Marlboro Man and modeling gigs for Calvin Klein before he started acting.

He starred opposite Danny Glover and Willem Dafoe in John Milius’s Flight of the Intruder in 1991.

In 2000, Johnson appeared with Kirk Cameron as co-lead in Left Behind: The Movie, which went from a direct-to-video release to a theatrical run.

He is survived by his wife, Laurie, and their children Shane, Bellamy, Rachel, Eliana, Eden, Rebekah, Annabeth, and William.
