Oppo Find X5 series
While the event introduces a new series, it’s not hard to guess which model is Oppo’s favorite – the Find X5 Pro. It will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset and will run ColorOS.
For the cameras (which were developed in collaboration with Hasselblad, by the way) it will leverage the MariSilicon NPU – a 6nm chip that will handle image processing tasks such as real-time RAW processing and image acceleration. The video shooting capabilities for 4K videos up to 20 times.
The shiny back of the phone (which we’ve seen in leaks) is actually “true, ultra-hard ceramic”. The surface finish looks quite glossy, but Oppo says a special texture will make it fingerprint-resistant. It should be available in black and white, maybe other colors as well.
That’s all for the official details. Unofficially, the Oppo Find X5 Pro is expected to have two IMX766 sensors (50 MP, 1/1.56”, 1.0 µm) – one for the main camera and one for the ultra-wide. As for the telephoto, we’ve heard there will be a 13MP camera with 5x hybrid zoom, let’s see how it goes. The selfie camera will use the new IMX709 sensor that was introduced in the Reno7 series. The Pro model should have a 6.7-inches LTPO AMOLED display (1440p+, 120 Hz), up to 12GB of RAM, IP68 rating, and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging (50W wireless).
As for the Oppo Find X5, we haven’t heard much about it officially, but according to a leakster, it will use the Dimensity 9000 chipset and should have the same 5000mAh battery with fast charging 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The screen and camera should be comparable to the Pro’s, but we still don’t have solid details.
By the way, there should be a third member of the family, the Oppo Find X5 Lite, but we expect this to be a rebranded Reno7.
