iPhone 15 Pro Comes to 5x

iPhone 15 Pro Comes to 5x: The China-based display maker BOE is reported to be supplying 15 teams in the iPhone 2023 with OLED LTPO displays for Apple’s high-end models. According to The Elec, the Chinese display maker will produce and supply OLED LTPO panels to the Cupertino-based giant next year.

According to the report, BOE is looking to expand its ability to manufacture OLED LTPO displays, enabling a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz for the iPhone 15 Pro.

Apple is planning to launch at least one iPhone 15 model with a Periscope camera system in 2023, which will allow it to increase optical zoom.

Meanwhile, Apple plans to add a 48MP camera lens to the iPhone next year.

Periscope lenses on select iPhone 15 series models have 10x zooming capabilities, better than the iPhone 13’s 3x zoom, according to analyst Jeff Pu.

There are already some Android smartphones with Periscope lenses, including the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and Huawei’s P40 Pro +. These devices feature up to 10x optical zoom.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, these iPhone camera upgrades over the next two years will help Taiwanese manufacturer Largan Accuracy increase its market share, revenue, and profit.
