About the Library

CESS Library is located in the Administrative block of the CESS Campus. It is considered to be one of the best libraries in Kerala State in the field of Earth Science and related disciplines. Since inception, it has been playing a pivotal role in the R&D programmes of the Centre by developing a systematically organised collection. The collection of the Library includes books, journals, back volumes, CDs, DVDs, VCDs, Proceedings, Standards, CD ROM database, Electronic Journals, Maps & Atlases, Theses, Project Reports, Reference Books, Annual Reports etc. Acquisition policy of the Library is in tune with the ongoing programs of the Centre. In addition, the Library acts as a resource pool to meet the anticipatory demands of the users. The collection consists of both print as well as contemporary digital resources by blending the normal and IT oriented information system. In addition to the scientific community of CESS, the Library is open to Scientists and Researchers of other institutions and Universities for reference
